Luke 23:32-43

1.  A HOLLOW CONNECTION TO JESUS’ PURPOSE.
     “The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him.
      They said, ‘He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s
      Messiah, the Chosen One.’” v 35

2. A HOLLOW CONFESSION OF JESUS’ POSITION.
    “The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him
     wine vinegar and said, ‘If you are the king of the Jews, save
     yourself.’” v 36-37

3. A HOLLOW CALL FOR JESUS PARDON.
    “One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him:
    ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!’” v 39

4. A SOLID CRY FOR JESUS’ PROMISE.

He Recognizes His Separation From Christ. v 40

He Realizes The Sacrifice Of Christ. v 41

He Releases His Sins To Christ. v 42 

He Receives His Salvation In Christ. v 43

5. A SOLID CONFIRMATION OF JESUS’ PERSON.
    “The centurion, seeing what had happened, praised God and said,
    ‘Surely this was a righteous man.’” v 47

    “When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus
     saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were
     terrified, and exclaimed, ‘Surely he was the Son of God!’”
